This is something for a woman I work with at my day job. She asked for something with a Native American theme and something with a wolf on it, and it went from there. This piece became a far more interesting and enjoyable piece than I ever imagined when I agreed to it 3 weeks ago.
I wanted to try to convey the deep spiritual connection Native Americans have to the natural world through the use of the pictured animals. I specifically chose the Eagle as it's a very prominent totem in many Native tribes and the Wolf was chosen for me.
I don't know how well I conveyed the idea, but that is what I was going for. I know most people just see a pretty picture and that's okay too.

The wolf is from my own large collection of reference images and is of Waya from Wolf Creek Habitat and Rescue.
